We DO NOT allow heels or open toed shoes! Wear closed toed shoes and something

comfortable!  You will be throwing the axe from over your head.

What happens during our experience?

At Splinters, you and your friends will spend 1-2 hours with hands on coaching from one of our trained Axeperts, who will teach everyone how to safely throw an axe and get it to stick in the target! 

After a few warm up games are played, everyone will square off in a group tournament that will result in the crowning of an Axe Throwing Champion!

Is it safe?

Yes!  Axe Throwing is very similar to other target sports. Provided that participants follow the instructions and safety rules explained in our briefing video and use common sense, throwing an axe is safe!  As an added safety measure, we will have one of our experienced and highly trained Axeperts with you at all times - they will monitor your throws for safety, and guide you through the entire process to make you a pro in no time!

When should we arrive?

​Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Your session begins promptly at your reservation time with a brief training. To keep us on schedule and the groups scheduled after you, we’ll have to end your session exactly 1.5 hours after your reservation time, even if you arrive late.

What if the time I want is unavailable?

Give us a call and we will work on opening another range for you!

Can other people join into our group?

Each of our throwing ranges have two lanes set up inside and hold up to 12 people! (That's 6 per lane!) If you would like to book Splinters Private Experience, purchase 6 or more tickets and you will have the range to yourself with the two lanes as a private experience! BUT if you book the public lanes, you will share the range with some new axe-throwing pals. Public ranges can host up to 10 people ( 5 people per lane)!

Can we keep throwing after our initial session?

Yes! If we have openings you certainly can. However, we cannot guarantee that we’ll have open sessions. The price is $25 per person for every additional hour added on to your session! If you are interested in adding more time onto your session when you are making your reservation, call us and we can help make that happen for you!

Can I arrive under the influence or bring alcohol?

We have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone participating under the influence.   Axes and alcohol don’t mix. Safety is our number #1 priority,  we will not let you participate, and you will NOT be refunded. 

Whats your policy on cancellations and refunds?

Unfortunately there are no refunds.  BUT we can certainly reschedule for you, as long as you let us know within 48 hours before your experience!

Do the Axeperts Accept Tips?

It is not required, but the Axeperts do appreciate it. 

Is there an age limit?

All Participants Must Be 14+

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must be present during your session.

Are you handicap accessible?

Yes, all of our lanes are handicap accessible and you can play in a wheel chair! You must be able to throw a 2 pound axe over your head with two hands.
